INN-PRESSME OITB
INN-PRESSME OITB is an Open Innovation Test Bed aiming at developing services along the entire value chain to help industries integrate sustainable bio-materials into their processes. These platform facilitate access to advanced technologies without the need for large investments in equipment or research. INN-PRESME Open Innovation Test Bed is providing European companies with technical and market-oriented services such as eco-design and circular economy assessment, characterisation and nanosafety studies, support for funding, and product certification advice.
Technologies and capacities developed during the INN-PRESSME project allow companies, though this OITB, to:
- Use innovative bio-based solutions to functionalize starting materials.
- Develop new nano materials from plants.
- Produce and test new bio-based materials from bio-based feedstocks.
Gnanomat, together with other X partners, is one of the members of the INNPRESSME OITB. The Gnanomat pilot plant can produce a diverse range of materials by means of wet-chemistry techniques such as dispersion, coprecipitation and microemulsion. Laboratory-scale syntheses can be efficiently scaled up in our pilot plant, enabling the production of hundreds of grams of material instead of the milligram quantities typical of laboratory experiments. This ensures a seamless transition from research to industrial-scale production.
