Dr. Roberto Clemente obtained a Bachelor Degree in Chemistry and a PhD degree. After a postdoc in The Scripps Research Institute (La Jolla, US) he completed his professional training with an MBA. Dr. Clemente led innovation companies, participated as member of different boards of directors of innovation companies and participated in different companies as Strategic Consultant and Business Development Director.
Íñigo (BSc, MSc, PhD) is a chemist specialized in polymeric nanomaterials. He started his research career at the University of Helsinki and continued by carrying out his PhD in the Spanish Research Council (CSIC) with stays at the University of Michigan and the Max Planck Institute. He has worked in industry as FP7 and H2020 project manager in the areas of nanotechnology and geopolymers, being involved, also as coordinator, in several international research and innovation projects and proposals. Íñigo is co-author of a number of scientific publications and proceedings and holds a patent.
María (BSc, MSc) obtained both a BSc degree in Chemical Engineering and a Master's degree in Process Engineering from the Complutense University of Madrid in 2013 and 2015, respectively. During her Master's research project María investigated the effect of cellulose nanofibers in the drainage behavior of pulp suspensions, as well as the optimization of the production of cellulose nanofibers from agro-industrial waste corn. It's here where María did his first scientific publication as co-author. María will continue her research activities in graphene nanotechnology from and industrial perspective.
Dr. Esther Castellanos obtained a Bachelor Degree in Chemistry and a PhD degree in Organic Chemistry. She is the responsible for the management of our innovation projects. She has extensive experience in strategic consulting innovation and she has developed several partnering collaborations focused on bringing innovative ideas to the market. Esther has a deep knowledge about H2020 innovation programs and expertise in the integrated management of innovation projects.
Dr. Senida Cueto obtained a Bachelor Degree in Chemistry and the PhD in Natural Science at ETH-Zürich. She became Spanish Patent Attorney in 1998 and European Patent Attorney in 2012. From 1996 to date, her professional career has focused on Intellectual Property, and she is founder of SP3 Patents, S.L.
Dr. Enrique Mann obtained a Bachelor Degree in Chemistry and a PhD degree in Organic Chemistry. His more than 18 years scientific career have evolved from academic to applied research, in the fields of organic synthesis, peptide chemistry, molecular recognition, protein-protein interactions and nanomaterials. Dr. Enrique Mann is co-author of more than 30 scientific publications, co-inventor of 6 granted patents, and he has supervised one PhD Thesis.
Dr. Bernando obtained a Bachelor Degree in Chemistry and a PhD degree in Organic Chemistry. He currently holds the position of Principal Investigator at the Institute of Organic Chemistry (CSIC). Together with his active contribution to the scientific community through research, he also works actively in dissemination of the Scientific Culture with the aim to increase the public awareness on science and its impact in the global society. Bernardo is co-author of more than 80 scientific publications, co-inventor of 7 granted patents and author of more than 40 scientific divulgation articles.
Dr. Enrique Morales obtained his PhD degree in Chemistry at the University Complutense of Madrid in 1986. After a one year state at the University of Newcastle upon Tyne (UK), he joined the Technology Department of the Institute of Polymer Science and Technology (CSIC) where in 1999 got a permanent Tenured Scientist position. Currently he holds the position of Scientific Researcher at the Physics of Polymers, Elastomers and Energy Applications Department of the Institute. His research interest is focused on the development of electrodes and electrolytes for electrochemical energy storage devices, such as supercapacitors and rechargeable batteries. He has supervised 3 PhD Thesis, is co-author of more than 60 scientific publications, more than 90 communications to scientific meetings, co-inventor of 3 patents and author of more than 30 scientific divulgation articles.
